chellstrom
hi there , im using logic pro 8 on a leopard based macbook , i get this message when i try to open a plug-in or even remove it Do you get this message with only one plug-in, or do you get them with any? If it's with 3rd party plugs, make sure they have been authorized properly. Are you by chance using a TC Powercore card?
marantzo
i get the message with any plug-in , and they are not 3rd party , im not using tc powercord card... ive found out that its happening only with one project in the mean time , also i tried to play one of the demo projects on the demo content cd and it would start playing and stop saying : system overload , ive tried increasing the buffer size to 1024 and its still the same , any ideas? thanks for the reply. chellstrom
Hm.... no 3rd party stuff... And you said Logic behaves as expected with other songs/projects? If it's all Logic plugs, my only guess would be that it's driver related. Which soundcard are you using? Is there a Leopard driver for the card? If that fails, I can only think of trashing preferences and/or repairing permissions, although I doubt that's it. If it's not the soundcard driver issue, I'm at a loss. Sorry I can't be of more help. Yeah. Don't play it from the CD. Copy it to your hard drive.
