nikkik
Hi! I thought I had Logic figured out finally, but when I went to record from more than one source, no recording would happen except on a selected track. If I select a track, it records. If I Rec enable 2 or more tracks, ONLY the selected one will record. Unique inputs for all tracks. I am dead in the water until I can figure this out, or someone could please, please, please help. nikkik
OK, I checked with another song, and it works fine in that song, but I cannot figure out what setting is causing this. More info: I opened the Audio Bin, and when I hit stop, the recording is appearing in the Audio Bin, but the region is not being created/placed on the track! Anyone? Homina
Try assigning your target tracks to the same group. I think you can record-enable all the tracks in a group simultaneously.
nikkik
Thx, but it is not a group thing, and it is not a matter of recording to multiple tracks. It is simply that if I do not have an Audio track selected when Rec enabled, it is not "printing" the region to that audio track. It is recording it, and it appears in the Audio Bin! But, the region is not on the track. I have not ever seen this happen, and since it works fine with other songs, I figured it might be some obscure Project Setting pref, or some setting that is Song/Project specific rather than a global pref. Any ideas? Please?
instantpop
I don't think it's a setting of any kind that is messed up, most likely just a weird think in that particular file. If it shows up in the Audio Bin I would just drag it to the Arrange and call it a day rather than worry too much about it. I have the same thing happen to me every once in a while when recording a vocal take and moving from the armed track to something else to adjust a level. Never really thought twice about it.
