Is this a Logic problem or Core Audio

I am trying to pin down a problem but I don't know where to start so here I go.

 

I have was recording my band yesterday I had 16 channels into the MOTU Traveler and 8 from regular inputs and 8 from ADAT. Now here was the problem (or maybe its not)

 

Channels 1 - 8 correlate to inputs 1 - 8 but the ADAT channels were inputs 15 - 22. I opened up Audio Midi setup and selected the traveler and it just showed all available inputs. Now the MOTU does have Spdif Aesebu and some other inputs that lay in those missing channels 9 - 14 so is this a problem and can I rearrange them.

You can rearrange them if you create an Aggregate Device. Open the Aggregate Device Editor in AMS, create a new device and add the Traveler, then select only the inputs you want to use. On the new virtual device, they should all show up sequentially and, as they say, Bob's your uncle.
