Chris AM
Could some kind person please advise me what content and how to transfer that content of Logic Studio on my HD to my Lacie external drive. I am running out of memory now that I have put the whole program and all its contents onto my Dual 1.8 G5Hz PowerPC G5 with 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM. Do I have to uninstall the whole program and start again? How do you uninstall the Whole Logic Studio? Thank you Chris AM
Homina
This has been discussed on a variety of threads. Do a Logic forum search involving the terms "library external relocate", and you'll turn them up. People have copied the library files elsewhere and replaced them with aliases to the new locations. It seems to be a hit-or-miss thing, working for some and not for others. The bulk of the Logic files appear to be in the Library>App Support and Library>Audio folders. Beware, however, that a full install also installs files for Soundtrack, Waveburner, and Garageband. Some of these are used by Logic. Moving all of this is not a trivial undertaking. Good luck.
