eggman Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Hello, This has probably been covered before, but I can find no trace of it: How can you edit, in track automation mode, standard MIDI CC such as Mod and pitch if you have an instrument, say the ES2 on that track? I know this is possible for some objects, such as faders in the environment, etc, but with the ES2, all I get are its parameters. Set the automation mode to latch, play the track and wiggle the controllers. If not, Hyperdraw is the other way around it. Although that's pretty much region-based... Fred B Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I agree that automation in Logic is sometimes confusing, probably due to the fact that Logic (in contrast to other DAWs) uses a single track for handling both MIDI and audio of an instrument (which of course is very convenient in general).
