Morerecords
I have a gig of Kingston memory, and I want to put some more in. The Samsung ram I have found is considerably cheaper. Do you think it matters? I have heard horror stories about RAM, but I think both of these brands are not APPLE endorsed, so...how can I determine if it matters? DO people do benchmark tests? David Nahmani
Samsung is the brand Apple uses.
bjs
Try OWC.com. They have several types of RAM including their own at excellent prices & they guarantee any RAM they sell. Lots of people here also recommend them. They tell you what is factory RAM & what's not & their benchmark tests are right there on their website.
