Eric J
how do i turn up my volume slowly on a instrument track... Use an automation curve to automate the volume. Hit A to go into automoation mode. also to put an effect on just one part of the track??? If you mean one Audio or Software Instrument track, then use an insert. Matt Mayfield
Shark Attck, If you haven't used Automation before, you're in for a treat in terms of its power, but also a bit of a learning curve and a LOT of information to take in. Rather than reading it all on the forum (which means we have to type it out!) you should check Chapter 26 (p.581) of the Logic Studio User's Manual. You can get there by choosing Logic Pro 8 User Manual from the Help menu within Logic. Thanks, Matt
