kamera Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 hi, imported a downloaded midi file into logic (long story...), and was faced with boxed numbers in the midi regions. i've attached a picture of these. what are they?? i can't find anything in the manual... please help. this is part of a present for someone, so it's a bit time-sensitive... thanks a million. tanks Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 Those numbers indicate that the region is associated with a particular GM MIDI instrument. In the example you uploaded, the number 35 means the region is supposed to sound like a picked electric bass.
