Philipjent
Since I have Logic Pro 7. When I upgrade to Logic Studio (The $199 version) will I get all of what comes in the $499 version? I just want to make sure I get the whole 9 yards Jam Pcks and all. Also do I have to get Lepard for Logic Studio to run smoother? I also have the M-Audio 49e midi controller , has anybody heard of any driver updates for that controller?
edubz
Also do I have to get Lepard for Logic Studio to run smoother?? I would think so, logic 8 is NOT being developed for tiger...
dkgross
Logic 8 on Tiger works perfectly fine on my system, fwiw.. And, actually, it's seems signficanlty more CPU friendly on the PPC side of the world (my Quad G5). eventually, I'll have to get an Intel tower, but i'll hold out as long as I can. Homina
Quite a few people have reported problems running LP8 with Leopard, and as a result lots are waiting until Logic has been updated to try it again. Some third-party plug-ins and utility programs aren't compatible with Leopard and will have to be updated before they can be used without difficulty. If you use such software, you're better off staying with Tiger until things stabilize.
