consagrado Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 hi im looking to make a rack type set up for my home studio...with pre-amps, eqs....and a mess of other goodies...is there any way that i can route that all to a mixer that has a fire wire port so that i can run it into logic....i think the onyx has a firewire card option would that work with logic? please excuse my lack of knowledge on terminology....im just getting started...thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David Nahmani Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Yes the Onyx with the firewire card plugs right into your mac and you have access to the i/o's through Logic. But I've experienced problems with those class-compliant devices (you don't have to install a driver, they use the standard FW or USB core audio drivers).
