jsmanness Posted December 16, 2007 Share Posted December 16, 2007 Hello, I am interested in creating a tempo change in 4/4 to 2/2, where the half note gets the beat and source for tempo. I realized that logic's tempo marking is fixed on quarter notes when I change the beat to something else, such as a half note. I know that the simple solutions are to either keep it in 4/4, or put the time signature as 2/2 but leave the tempo marking as if it was still in 4/4. However, it would be great for when I export the midi out to Sibelius that both the time signatures and tempos were correct. I hope that wasn't too confusing. Thanks for your help!
