thumpmonk
hey, is there a way to put all the jampack content into custom directories? the logic 8 installer lets me put the Audio Content stuff into a custom directory, and that's great, but there's no way i can fit the jampack stuff onto the hard drive of my intel mac. i understand that the surround impulse IRs have to go into the local library, but the content docs only reference those files as needing to be local. however, theres no way to tell the installer that i want to put the jampacks elsewhere. would it be so hard for there to be a preference setting that lets you designate custom folder locations? im not a developer, i dont know. anyone? darkecho
I too am interested in this, I will need to reinstall my OS soon (some problem with corrupt fonts blah blah) I would REALLY love to avoid reinstalling the 40GB of Logic Content.. If I can house it all on an external drive before I reload the OS, that would be fantastic. I would like to keep it on a separate drive anyways, loops AND instruments. nagal
using aliases should do the trick.
