MidiQuest with AU Wrapper in Logic?

Recommended Posts

Is anyone out there using the MidiQuest editor/librarian, then wrapping its VST plug-in (a "virtualized" hardware synth) in an AU Wrapper, and using that within logic. If so, how is it working out. Any stability issues?

From everything I've read, this seems possible (and pretty cool, too). I just wanted to check before I buy non-refundable software.

I just tried to use MidiQuest in its plug-in form in Logic 7 using Fxpansion VST to AU wrapper.

I was able to get Logic to see Midiquest and load it as a plug-in (i.e. the Fxpansion part seems to have worked), but was not able to access any of Midiquest's functionality from within Logic.

I've Emailed Midiquest support and yet to get a response after a few days.

Is anyone actually using Midiquest as plug in for Logic 7 and getting it to work?
