Taking longer to open sessions after 10.5.2

I'm experiencing this.

When double clicking on a session file, Logic opens, do all the normal scan stuff, but when it's time to actually load the song, it stays (apparently) doing nothing for about 15 to 20 seconds.

Then the process of finding audio files starts and the song is loaded.

I read some complains about this at the Apple Discussion Forum too.

Have you noticed this?

At first I thought it me being impatient, but yes its true, it takes a bit longer. I haven't tried it with mainstage yet though...weird

Yeah.

And it's not just when opening existing sessions.

It just happened now creating a new project.

It's taking a lot longer to open a brand new session.

Never happened before.

This is clearly a 10.5.2 thing.

Hope they are already aware of this.

I have the same problem here!

It stalls during the first opened song.

Then I can just open songs as before but the very first time it stalls.

It doesn't matter if it's a template or the most recent... Seems like a bug!

I actually think my Leopard performance is a little better than Tiger was. I mean, things were a little faster in Logic and Tigger, but it got to where I couldn't work because of all the overloads. Everything I did would cause playback to stop. At least now I'm functional again (and things look purty, haha).

i have been having this problem from he 10.5.1 update but not to this extent...after 10.5.2 & the graphics update it got much worse...& i think it has got more to do with the graphics update since i installed that just 2 days ago...7 after that its taking ages for my default (empty) project to load...

hope they fix this soon
