Midi Controls for Channel Strip Parameters

I'm using logic as a sequencer on one computer and sample player on a second in order to speed load times and split up the workload. It seems to work well except that it would very nice to be able to control send levels on the instrument channels over MIDI like you can control Volume and Pan.

 

I have tried and tried to see if there is an easier way to do it than using the controller assignments page which would require me to teach Logic 512 assignments(128 tracks x 4 sends), and then trouble shoot the ones that it for whatever reason doesn't like.

 

It seems like there should be a way to have MIDI control the send level, just as MIDI can control the Volume and Pan of a Logic Channel Strip. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
