Thin Vocal Effect

Hi

I'm trying to get a light vocal effect (thin sounding) similar to McCartney's vocal effect on "For No One"

On the original they recorded it at a lower pitch and slower speed and when played back normally it sounded very light and thin.

How can I achieve this on Logic Pro? I've tried recorded it slower and using the Time and Pitch Machine but it gives a quite metallic sound.

Are there any plugins that I can use to audio recorded at the normal speed?

I'm new to Logic so any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Yeah, I've heard that track and it sounds like a very

narrow band-pass EQ to me.

Beware of taking out too much between 3000 and 5000,

though, otherwise you'll lose some essential formant

information and, for example, "very" may sound like "many",

etc etc

Thanks.

I am totally new to this. I'm sort of learning as I go along. I'm used to the basic parametric EQ controls on Cubase so now I'm on Logic with so many different plugins etc I dont know where to start.

How do I do what you said above?

Thanks :?
