Atroa Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 so after trying and trying to figure it out on my own.. i have to humble myself to the mercy of you great poeple to hopefuly provide me the help i hope i can get. copy and paste an audio file.. lets say i copied a segment of vocal from the file in the region and i pasted it in sequence to how i want it to repeat.... but.. i want to extend one of (not all) the pasted pieces a lil longer (or shorter if i choose to) when i try to do that... alll the peices i have pasted extend (or shorten) themselves along with the one im trying to extend (or shorten) how can i just command "v" a whole line of sequence but give personal editing attention to the particular ones i want without it effecting the rest? thanks in advance guys for whatever answers i get. shivermetimbers Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 If I am reading this right, I think you may need to deselect all the regions 1st. (Click on any gray area of the arrange window and then try to adjust). If they are all highlighted they will all respond together. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Atroa Posted February 29, 2008 Author Share Posted February 29, 2008 ^^^ that didnt work, but because of your response i booted up logic to try your idea and upon finding out it didnt fix the problem... i clicked on my handy right mouse button and looked though the options in hopes to find a lil hope.. and there is was in the form of "convert to new region(s)" .. and i was able to edit the particular one i chose to "convert" to my hearts content with out having to get a cloned edit action going with the rest. so thank you.. although ur idea was not the case.. u helped me still and got me to figure out the correct answer. =) Alex Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
