So i have a drive devoted to audio files and other deticated to the OS. But as i record i get glitchy audio in playback and recording and the HD meter maxes out. What the hell? Is this happening to anyone else too? My computer is an 8 core with 2 gigs of ram and the drives are 7,200 rpm. Lammmmmmmmmme it's totally f$@%ing up my takes

When you say you have a drive "dedicated to audio files," does that mean you're recording to the drive and reading samples from it at the same time? If that's the case, then that's the likely cause of your problem.

One is for programs the other is for the audio files that are associated with projects and audio from logic is being writte to that audio HD too. Isnt that that way it's suppost to be?
