Multi Channel Instrument Setup in Logic 8

I love your multi-template posted here:

I was wondering if you are considering to modify it and adapt it to LOGIC 8 or are you using the same template from LOGIC 7.

 

L8 has that feature when creating new tracks to create a multi-instrument that uses the same Instr but different channels to speak to the different multi-channels. But it is impossible to use the volume knob there since it affects all the other channels.

 

Would you just use your OLD template?
