I've come across trhis key command:

It consists of + an arrow pointing straight up and to the left of 12 noon.

In the character palette I've found it described as 'northwest arrow'

But I cannot find which key it belongs to.

Anyone know?

Thanks :D

Nah. It just points to the cultural center of the universe: Eugene, Oregon.

Okay, maybe not. But if you ever need to know where to buy really huge bongs, follow the arrow. . .

I was looking all around...I was looking in my David Pogues OSX tiger manual......

after I read David's post saying "home" key, I tried looking it up in Mac Help....

there I found a page link to "symbols for special keys" . Lo and behold...there it is...the backwards leaning arrow... = Top ( home)

Its NOT the escape key..... I found the home key

but pressing + does not do what it supposed to do...sort of.

This is in soundtrack.... select > backwards. If you do it from the menu, it'll select all the audio backwards from where the playback cursor is. Doing it with the key command only does it incrementally. You have to keep repeating the command the further back you want to go. Must be something to check off or on somewhere......

sorry for being so thick :D

Thanks. I did find it....the left arrow key is 'home'. I edited my post when I did find it but not soon enough for you to catch it ;)

These $20 CVS glasses don't work as well as they used to...

I know nothing about key commands or symbols...I always used the menus for practically everything.
