ski
do Logic 7 and 8 work fine with this update. Im on MAC Os 10.4.9 now but keep seeing the update. AM I good to update? any problems? Why do you want to update if your system is working fine now? There is potential risk of something becoming broken every time you update. Just because you're seeing the update (via Software Update maybe?) doesn't mean that you have to. Look, 10.4.11 might work just fine, but again, why risk it? If it ain't broke... Homina
Ski's advice is well-taken. If your system's stable and doing what you need done, leave it alone. OTOH, lots of folks have used 10.4.11 with both 7 and 8 with no problems. Updating probably wouldn't cause trouble and might even improve performance, but there are no guarantees. There are simply too many variables among system configurations. If you decide to try it, you could make a SuperDuper backup of your boot drive first. Then if you ran into trouble after updating, you could painlessly restore your earlier configuration.
