How to get Bus channel onto arrange page?

I want to edit the volume automation of a bus, how do i do this.

I believe you control click on the buss in the mix window and select Create/Select in arrange or something like that. I'm not at my own computer right now. Anyway that will put your buss in your arrange page.

In the mixer you can choose under "options": "create arrange track for selected tracks".

Or ....

Select the Aux channel strip in the Mixer.

Turn automation on for that strip (change Off to Read or something)

And the Aux track will be added to the Arrange area automatically.

You first have to add a bus to the mixer, which you must do from the Environment window's New-Channelstrip-Bus. Then it will be available in the arrange mixer when you click "All".

 

Then you can add that bus object as an Arrange track by ctrl-clicking.

 

Note that if you automate an aux, it's not controlling the bus level, only that one aux (return) from the bus.
