muzakshop
Hello! Thanks to all for all the posts. This site has helped me tremendously with equipment and set up tips to outfit my first studio and I'm real grateful for all you folks. Just a hobbyist here with modest gear looking to get through the technical obstacles. I have my very first project on the board with some performance problems (system overload). I think it's probably the way I have my channel strips set up...but who knows. I seek your advice. attached is a shot of my mixer. should I just remove all my plug-ins and start from scratch? Next time a start building tracks, should I bypass all plugins? Thanks in Advance! i
hi. Just Freeze the tracks that you don't need to edit anymore. It'll give you plenty more processing power from your computer. Also learn how to use Busses and Auxes (see below) http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=13242&highlight=bus+busses Thanks, i

el-bo
bouncing 'inst' tracks to audio is also an option to consider as it can use less hard drive space than freezing....
