Tezza
I'm having a problem scrolling with the mouse wheel when I place the cursor over a secondary (non active) window. This used to work in logic 7 but now in 8 you have to click on some windows before the scroll works. (However the scroll does work all times for some (list) windows such as event list / tempo list marker list. This is very frustrating because if you have to click on a window to scroll you end up deselecting any events you are working on. Does anyone else have this problem? ski
I agree Tezza, this is one of the biggest problems I have with Logic 8, and is the main reason I don't use it. Logic 8 was described as having improvements to "workflow", but it's all but hobbled mine. I really like a lot of things about Logic 8, but unless this is fixed/changed I'm going to stay on Logic 7. As an aside, I find that the more clicking I have to do to get my work done, the more tired I get, especially during long sessions. And I get little bouts of tendonitis from all of the mousing I do in general, and Logic 8 doesn't help with this. So truth be told, were I to use Logic 8 it will for me, actually exacerbate a medical problem. So they can say whatever they like in the marketing regarding "improvements to workflow", but in our case, that claim is nothing more than a figment of someone's imagination. ChicoSatis
Hi Yes I have the same problem when I click on say the environment window or any open window. You can automatically scroll if you use the tabs on the bottom though. This comes in handy when i do midi editing. Have a good one
