vision1man777
When running multiple tracks sometimes Logic will just stop and say system error disk too slow. I have tried increasing the buffers. fixing disk permissions and other troubleshooting issues but to no avail. It happens particularly when I have ex24 running midi stuff. Any Ideas? logiq
Yeah I have exactly the same problem, and I think it's been getting worse as time has gone on. I'm running Logic 7 on a dual 1.25 GHz G4 with 768 MB RAM. I can't find any info on the RPM of my HD, but I don't think that's the problem. I know I used to be able to run tons and tons of audio instruments, tracks and tracks of audio, all with tons of effects with no problem. Now I can barely get 8 audio instruments with eqing and compression before it starts quitting on me.
vision1man777
2.5 dual G5 with 3gig RAM. 7500rpm hard drives(2) all samples on external drive. Using Logic 7.2, Tiger 7.4.11. What's strange is like the other guy said, I have run much more plug ins and longer songs and had no problem. Its only recently its started, and happens more and more frequently. Is it possible I have some corrupted file samples? I have a bunch of giga stuff converted to ex24 and I notice it happens more when I am running ex24 stuff.
