vanheusen
I have two computers (one G5 w Leopard , one Macbook w Tiger) When i try to send logic project from the Macbook to the G5 I do so via the shared folder. Then i save them in my / Music folder on the G5. Problem is, when I open one of the projects and try to save it, I get "insuficcient permissions" errors. When I check the permissions of /Music with info view all seems fine, and I use the "for all objects" or what its called checkbox. What is the best way of getting projects between different computers?
boydman
don't use the share folder. simply login to the computer as yourself and drop the file anywhere you please. So, going from your macbook to G5: Go to network, search for the G5, when the 'connect as' dialog box pops up, connect as a registered user and enter the name and password of the G5. Now you should be able to drop the file anywhere you want on the G5, and YOU will be the 'owner' of the file. this way you'll avoid any permissions issues.
