Bowromir
Hi Guys Ok so here's the deal.. I have a drum session which I want to use for a dance track.. it's quite long and the tempo is around 120 BPM but fluctuates between 118 and 120.5... I want to use it for a dance track and I need it fully quantized.. If I quantize the entire song it gives me weird sounds, so is there a trick to do the following: 1: Quantize the audio drums, so that the snares hits exactly at the same time as my fully quantized staight 4/4 beat ? 2: make an slighty adjusting global tempo which keeps the quantized straight beat inline with my almost perfectly played drums? How do I do this, I really can't figure this out! I've been messing around in Logic for hours, and it's driving me crazy Thanks for any help! DaniGordon
Hi Guys 1: Quantize the audio drums, so that the snares hits exactly at the same time as my fully quantized staight 4/4 beat ? 2: make an slighty adjusting global tempo which keeps the quantized straight beat inline with my almost perfectly played drums? 1. If it's a multi track drum recording: Go here: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=19457 And here: 2. Use Logic's Beat Mapping Function. Woks great and it was created exactly for what you want in your second question.
