nickpowell
I'm trying to get an AIFF file to follow tempo in Logic 8. I have bounced it and added to the audio bin as it says in the manual, but the follow tempo box doesn't APPEAR in the left hand box. I've also tried converting it to an apple loop (.caf) and that doesn't work either. I can't work out what I'm doing wrong. PLEASE HELP! fader8
It doesn't convert the region to an Apple loop in place. You must import the apple loop that you created from wherever you saved it to.
nickpowell
Thanks for that. It worked, but I can't see why bouncing within the project doesn't work as it says it should in the manual... oh well Thanks Nick ps. Now I want to write in tempo changes, but I want one of my audio tracks to ignore them (ie. keep all it's edits at the same points in time, ignoring tempo changes) I know I could mix it down to one file, but is there any way to lock a track in time? On cubase it would be toggling between time-based and tempo based on the track header....
