Peter Project
Is it possible in any way when making an EXS instrument to change the a value in all the samples at once? For example, If I have an instrument in which I loaded 36 different samples, and I wanted turn off "one shot" on all of them, can do it without clicking on each and every sample? David Nahmani
Select all the samples (Command-A) and click the checkbox for one of them, they'll all update.
Peter Project
I've actually tried that. Go into the section with all the sampels. Click command A, then uncheck "one shot" but it still only effects the sample you check. Weird?! Thus far the fastest way I've found is set your mouse up in exactly the spot where the check box pops up, then configure it so that when you play a key it automatically selects that sample. Then you press key, click mouse, press key, click mouse.... tapclicktapclicktapclicktapclick.. etc. I'm getting repeatative stress injury -PP
Fred B
Make sure that all samples in the list are actually highlighted. I've noticed that command-A doesn't always work as expected. Sometimes you have to try several times or use 'select all' instead from the edit menu. Generally I've found that the EXS editor in Logic 8 is quite unreliable. Peter Project
Its one of those things where I'm TRYING to like it. I'm making an effort to establish a workflow with it, but it's not coming that easy.
Peter Project
Nah Man.... This straight up doesn't work. Any other ideas? I'm thinking it's just not possible. -PP
Fred B
Did you manage to highlight all samples in the list? If so it should work. At least it does for me.
Peter Project
I used Apple A, I used "select all" and I physically selected them with a mouse. Still nothing! Is this weird? Am I an idiot? -PP
fader8
Is this weird? Am I an idiot?-PP Yes. No. I seem to recall running into this before. The "one-shot" parameter is one of those that can't be changed in a multi-selection.
