tommythedime
I recently added this to my studio, I have managed to get it triggering sounds ok..... The problem Im facing is assigning the pots and faders on the AKAI midi device to control the softsynth controls on logic? The controller came with presets fro other packages such as reason and cubase but no logic?? Has anyone else used this controller or able to shed any light on how to sync? Cheers Tom

tommythedime
ok so I found this nugget of info and have put into practice... 'To configure the MPK49 transport buttons to control logic do the following. The logic menu select 'File' / 'Project Settings' / 'Synchronization' Then from within the Synchronization window select the 'MIDI' tab. Look under the MIDI Machine Control (MMC) section and make sure it's configured to 'Listen to MMC input'. All I need know now is the process to map the pots and faders cheers Tom
maxedwards
make a preset on the akai mpk49 with the pots and faders going from say cc#70 on up. then use controller assignment window in logic; http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=432 also backup up ur controller prefs, for a precautionary measure love the akai, nice and sturdy
