shivermetimbers
I juts got Logic Studio was wondering whats the best way to mess with Accapellas in it??? There is no 'best' way. There are tons of 'Accapellas' on the net to give you multitudes of ideas. Eat a good meal, go to the bathroom, turn off the TV, disconnect your phone (shut off your cell), lock the door and get busy with Logic. Don't plan on sleeping either. Try the follow tempo pg 526, it may work for you.
Holger Lagerfeldt
Find the original tempo. Turn it into an Apple loop first, then you can easily play around with tempo and style. Once you've decided on a tempo, use a high quality time stretch algorithm like Radius to change the tempo from the original tempo file (not the Apple loop) to the new tempo. You can also use the Strip Silence function, Convert To Individual Audio Files, and then load all the bits into the sampler and trigger them via MIDI. FlowerPower
Use Beat Mapping.
Holger Lagerfeldt
Beat mapping... I guess you assume the acapella is not in tempo? I assume he's referring to acapella as in acapella for remixing compos etc, therefore beat mapping is irrelevant I think.
