Deadly
I have thousands of drum hits (kicks, snares, cymbals etc). I don't want to copy them into my iTunes library because they'll get in the way of all the normal music I want to listen to. I'd like to have another program (another separate iTunes would be ideal!) that I can store and playlist these drums hits, away from my conventional music collection. Must be able to play WAV, AIFF etc. I won't need to be be able to sync with iPods or do anything flashy if that makes a difference. What would you guys recommend? jaytranzmit
Audiofinder is great, very useful for not only quick auditioning. Only thing that has bugged me, and this is a problem with L8 not Audiofinder, is that you can no longer drag and drop from audio files from AF into the EXS24. You could do it with 7 but, rejects in now. It was a very handy feature for throwing in drums etc quickly and less clumbsy than other methods. Seems you can still drag into the parameter column area, but not onto the virtual keyboard anymore, which mapped the zone to that key. This is a bummer. Since that still works when dragging from OSX's Finder, maybe iced audio could find a workaround for this. This guy is a machine when it comes to fixing bugs, so don't lose hope.
