BassBottom
When I feel the vibration of the kick and bass it actually makes me play better. I was wondering if any of you guys used the ButtKicker before. I would like to purchase one for both bass and drums. I've heard about it a long time ago and then it faded out. Anyone?? check out the link below... http://www.thebuttkicker.com/musicians/index.htm

fader8
HAHHAH!hey fader, did ya get my email? Yes. Bassbottom, (suddenly an appropriate name), I'm thinking you better be nice to the monitor mixer or he/she will hook up an oscillator and start looking for your sphincter resonance during the show! ski
Just get one of these and you'll be all set... http://score2picture.com/logicpix/BrownNote.jpg Don't forget -- hold on tight!
BassBottom
LOL Sorry for the disturbance. I'm just used to playing on Arenas and stadiums. It's not my fault that you guys have never experienced the lack of power on huge stages. Thanks for you for your intelligent remarks.
ski
Hey, hope you don't really mind me poking a little fun. Trust me, you're not the only member of the "experience power on stages" club in residence here. I know exactly what you mean. Not "feeling it" is one of the reasons I've always hated in-ear monitors. Plus I hate seeing a grown monitor engineer cry (inevitable with those setups). BassBottom
Not at all Ski. I was actually LMAO I just needed to know the answer to my question before the thread makes a complete U-Turn.
ski
It seems like a really really good idea. I'd never heard of this thing before you posted. I wonder if you couldn't get one on "evaluation" (some dealers will do this). There's a dealer listing on their site (goes by state).
BassBottom
Professional Drummers have used it in studios in the past. Drummers always had problems hearing their kicks on headphones. So this unit attached to the drummer's seat would act as a sub woofer to the headphones and the drummers would virtually hear their kick as if it was coming out of a loudspeaker. Some drummers use to rave about it. I'm curious about the guitar platform. My subwoofer is starting to annoy the hell out of my neighbors.
