Im trying to flatten a file in STP and bring it back into Logic, but when i play it back in Logic none of the effects i've applied in STP are there, has anybody seen this problem? Im Pretty desperate to get this resolved, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

No one?

Make sure when saving the project in STP you save it as .aiff in the saving otpions.

If saving as a STP project the file won't update in Logic.

Thanks Dani

Its still not working, very frustrating, STP will not flatten the file with the Realtime Effects, What am i doing wrong?

OK. There is a somewhat specific order in which saving must be done. The first one is the lease obvious. I'm not in front of stp right now so my exact terminology might be slightly off, but you will see it. First in the process menu there is a button that says something like "render plugins to action" or "bounce real time to action", something like that. Once this completes, your plugins will disappear and an action will appear in the action list. Then, and only then flatten your actions. Lastly, hit save. It should not ask you for anything, it should write directly to the aiff file. You will not need to save this as a stp project or anything. The rest is automatic. Once you hit save on stp and the save completes, just switch back to logic and it should be busy recomputing the waveform and you will then be able to here the differences. The "bounce real time to action" command is imperative as this is the only way to get real time effects to the action list where you can flatten it into the original file recorded by logic.
