David Nahmani
You can control-click an Aux to create its Arrange track, then use the duplicate button in the Arrange area. Or create a new Aux and copy and paste the Channel Strip setting.

David Nahmani
You can create it from the Mixer: click the + button on the left.
dazzgriff
Ah hah Sorted, what i done for a test was create a few drum channels, route them to bus 1, then but a few basses through bus 2, then outputted them 2 buses to bus 3 that i created then left clicked on the bottom of the channel strip so it would show on the arrangement page Is this correct, or as usual i am doing it the hard way Cheers
David Nahmani
That sounds overly complicated. How about you share with us what you're trying to do? As in: what your ultimate goal is (the reason for creating all those Aux channels)?
dazzgriff
Basically, i like to group all my drums & loops on a bus, then my effects, then say i am using a few strings, i will group them also, by the time i have finished i will have about 8 buses i.s drums, effects, strings, vocals, etc. What my goal would be would be to say at one point in my arrangement 4 of those buses out of the 8 buses all of a sudden to filter down with automation while the other 4 buses carried on playing. Thats it... Your book has just arrived at my mothers house today, will pick it up over the weekend as i looks a good read Cheers
David Nahmani
OK so then you're going about it the right way (sending your sub-mixes busses into another bus to put your filter) but why the need for duplicates?
dazzgriff
Probably to save CPU as my computer struggles and for a similar reason to the above, for example if i just want the drums filtered down by automation i can automate on a bus Cheers for the right click tip on the mixer to bring it into the arrange
dazzgriff
What i meant by CPU, instead of putting a compressor on every individual drum i can use 1 on the lot
