whats the best pop filter?

Recommended Posts

I actually am not sure of which is the best pop filter but when you do have Plosives try this. Create a new track under your vocal track and name it Plosives or whatever you want really. Then go and cut out the Plosives from the vocal and put it on your new Plosive track. Then put an EQ on the Plosives track and filter the bass frequency anywhere from 120 to 200 HZ. I'm telling you this gets rid of all plosives. Since I discovered this technique I've never had any problem dealing with plosives. But of course still use a pop filter. It's just that occasionally a Plosive might get through. It's a great fixer upper. Sorry to be a bit off topic but I LOVE this technique. It works every time.

Have a good one. :D

Did FOH for a music video release last night, theres the classic "doing the vocal" shot, done in the local student radio station voice booth, and fook me, theres the bent coat hanger with pantyhose on it, just like when i worked there FIFTEEN years ago...

I suppose the reason is, incredibly, that 2 layers of that stuff

over a coat hanger actually DOES work rather well. People like

K & M and Steadman have just made "old pantihose" into a

pretty product ..............
