Boussani
Hi... Yesterday I installed Melodyne on my OS X Leopard... I know that I'm not the first one who's had this problem, but obviously, I found out about this problem only after Logic crashed. For those who don't know- Celemony Melodyne (versions under 3.2.2) will crash Logic 8 on Mac OS X Leopard! The version of Melodyne that I have is 3.1. I went on the Celemony forums and there they advised to delete those two files: - "MelodyneBridge.component" which is located under Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components - "MelodyneBridge.vst" which is located under Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST I went to those locations, and... NO files! For some reason I feel like the Logic forum would be more of a help with locating those files and/or advising anything else to do, since the files are simply not there. I find it weird that those are the files that suppose to crash Logic, but they're not there, and still Logic crashes before opening. There is no Uninstall application to the Melodyne, how can I get rid of all the Melodyne files and get back to my computer the way it was 24 hours ago? Thank you very much! Sahkuhachi
yes the updates solves the problem. what you have to delete is the melodyne rewire: /Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire/MelodyneRewireDevice /Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/ReWire/MelodyneRewireDevice.plugin

dbonejones
remember that there's 2 "/library/application support/" folders. one is seen when you click on your main hard drive icon in the finder , mines called "macintosh hd"; and the other is seen when you click on your username icon in the finder. check them both. cheers, dbone
