camillo jr
I'm wondering if there's any way to reset the input meter's peak level reading other than by clicking on the numbers with the mouse? Is there some setting somewhere that governs the behavior of the channel strip meters? When I'm setting levels on the pre-amp and someone's playing it would be nice to have the peak level disappear after a short time, like maybe a second or two so I don't have to keep going to the mouse to re-set it. I'm on L7.

shivermetimbers
How about using a key command (pg 549)
camillo jr
Well I'm on L7 and pg 549 gets me the score editor. Anything more specific, like which key command? I've looked, believe me, or I wouldn't be asking.
Holger Lagerfeldt
I've put mine on , Open the key command window and use the search function (I can't give you the exact name as I'm at home right now)
nagal
According to the Logic 8 manual the key command to look for is Clear Overload Flag in Audio Channel Display . I do not know if it is called the same thing in L7.
pantomimeHorse
It sure as hell is ! - It's in Global Commands - C
shivermetimbers
Sorry about that Camillo, I will learn to read one day. Any way, if you want to go with the key command, it is the same in L7. In the key command window, search for clear and assign it a command (midi or key).
camillo jr
Yes, that's the one! Never would have thought to call it that. ( I guess that's the only way to re-set it?) Thanks everyone.
