midi-filter (to get different scales )

hi all,

I m searching for a possibility to filter incoming midi -pitch to get div. Scales in Logic

my setup: Softw.-Step.sequenzer(numerology)midi out goes to midi i.n channels 1-8 in Logic

any suggestions? i m so tired of having only ionian ,dorian ect melodys -in other words: I would like to make my "own neverheard-before-scales"

Try using Chord Memoriser: map incoming notes to different outgoing ones:

eg:

 

for Lydian mode

 

C - C

D - D

E - E

F - F#

 

etc

 

 

 

Chord memorizers can also Transpose

I would like to make my "own neverheard-before-scales"

With only 12 notes and a few hundred years of Western music chances of coming up with never-heard before scale is almost nil. Check out some atonal music for some composers pushing the boundaries in early 20th century. If you want to get out there they check out some of Schoenberg, Berg, and Webern's music it should inspire you.
