Logic Pro
Anyone using Amplitube 2 here? I just ran it again while CPU load is using between 20 and 30 percent, nothing else open but logic, and even if i higher the buffer i still get pops and crackles, once in a while it will work but for the most part even stand alone i get the pops constantly now, but not on the iMac with Leopard, just the MacBook Pro. anyone here know a trick to get this to work? OddTime
I ran into a similar issue, but only on certain patches (I don't remember which ones). Most of the patches worked okay for me though. None of the patches were usable with a 32 buffer size (constant pops and clicks), but 64 was okay on my system. Have you tried shutting off high-quality mode (or whatever it's called) in AT2 while recording? It should help. Also, I find that quitting the Finder (you have to enable the Quit menu item with something like TinkerTool) and disabling my network connections, (and of course quitting all other programs) seems to give me just that little bit extra "headroom" to work with logic. Kinda like turning it up to 11...

Logic Pro
I like to confirm that this issue with Amplitube making noize while the computer' connected to the net via airport is ONLY happening with my MBP17 with a HIR RES SCREEN! Tests on a 15" and a iMac proved this so far.
Anowrexiya
Its not just amplitube , a lot of people have the same issue with the airport using a whole variety of plugins. In my case it only occured after doing the "airport extreme 2008-001" update.

Anowrexiya
Quite a lot of people have noticed this problem. The main issue though is that people think its for a whole load of different reasons and it occurs when they are doing different things so it ends up manifesting in loads of different places on the forum. I've been trying to go through a load of posts that could have this as the problem and suggest the solution. In most cases so far it seems to have solved people's problems.
