1pauper1
everybody says you can do some anchor adjustments in the audio bin,and some other cool stuff. but i can't find where or how to do it. my audio bin only shows names, samplerate etc. and varios blue and grey region sections. the manual shows boxes for anchor adjustments and such but i can't seem to figure out where this display is. what am missing, which tab, drop down box, menu offers these options? fader8
You're probably looking at the audio bin "drawer" which doesn't have the functions you're describing. Open "Audio Bin" from the Window menu instead.

Doug Z
Open your audio region in the Sample Editor and adjust the anchor there. It will probably be on the far left corner of the region. Way more accurate than the Audio Bin WINDOW, which also shows the anchor and allows you to adjust. Historically this is only accurate to 256 samples. The Audio Bin TAB does not show the anchor. Try using the Help files that come with Logic. They are reasonably good and you can search for keywords, such as "anchor". Doug
Rolo Tomasi
everybody says you can do some anchor adjustments in the audio bin,and some other cool stuff. Yes you can do some cool stuff in the audio window but what's even cooler is opening the audio file in Soundtrack Pro where you can get super creative with a much better editor. Check it out! fader8
ok, did as you saidsame lack of options with a much larger window i am truly perplexed Here's the audio bin file w/region showing the anchor which you can move. You'll also notice when you hover over the lower portion of the region you'll get a cursor: <| |> which allows you to slip the region or hold option to slide.
