PMcC
So out of nowhere, whenever I launch a Logic help file from the "Help" menu. I get the pdf launching in a "ColorSync Utility" I have no idea why? or what this is? But the search feature is gone making the help files useless. I'm no Mac maven, so maybe someone can suggest how to get rid of this and go back to the original help files. btw,. I ran the "verify" on the utility and it said no problem, I repaired anyhow. same thing. Appreciate any help. Thanks PMcC
bmdaugherty
is this the case with all pdfs or only logic help files? If all your pdfs open this way then click on a pdf in the finder and get info, under the "open with" tab you can select a default app to open a file type. when you push get info (command-i) while a pdf is selected it should open with "preview". If it says color sync utility, then theres your problem. Even if it doesnt, select preview again and then select change all docs of this type to open with preview when prompted. If preview is already listed, try clicking other and selecting preview from the app folder. Hope this helps.
