Oafashow
so is this an appropriate thing to be using as a bus setting for vocals? It looks like people are mostly using this for instruments

Marcus Aurelius
Does anyone have a comparison with the Waves SSL? The comparison links from Lagerfeld in the original post no longer work. (I can't demo the Waves SSL as I demoed it years ago) Thank you....
lagerfeldt
Updated links (I can't edit the original post), perhaps a mod can copy+paste this into the original post. Download and Installation http://centerforlydteknik.dk/links.html Scroll down to find the Logic Pro SSL link. Sound example http://www.centerforlydteknik.dk/download/logic/ssl/sslaudiofiles.zip http://www.centerforlydteknik.dk/download/logic/ssl/sslfrequency.gif Purple color: Waves SSL · Orange color: Logic Compressor Looking at the waveforms for transient changes, there is generally speaking a strong similarity between the two waveforms, and transients are quite similar too: http://www.centerforlydteknik.dk/download/logic/ssl/sslwaveform.gif Upper waveform: Waves SSL · Bottom waveform: Logic Compressor

David Nahmani
@lagerfeldt ... is there a way to get these presets back? 🙂
des99
15 minutes ago, David Nahmani said: ... is there a way to get these presets back? Sure. Just Wayback Machine that link, the presets are there and still downloadable. Then you could update the thread with direct links if you wanted, or add them as LPH-hosted files.
