Gmartin
Hello guys - I have been looking everywhere for this, maybe I am not looking hard enough but thought I would ask. I currently have a Mac Pro set up with Logic 8 Pro it is an Intel based Quad running Leopard 10.5.2 - Would it be possible to migrate/transfer the Logic 8 application to my new MacBook Pro? avoiding a complete re-install? I am also worried about the licensing and would prefer if it could be done this way. Please share any insight you have on this. Thanks in advance. P.S. I did see the migration wizard when I first set up the laptop, but wasnt sure if this could be done so selected the "I will transfer later" option. It's a great app. This will cloning the entire hard drive or just the selected folders.
Gmartin
Thanks for the reponse, I will look into that. I was hoping I could use the migration assistant to transfer my files and apps. like Logic Pro 8 to my new MacBook Pro via FW400 both using Leopard as mentioned before.
