grouping tracks for mixing

Hi I am new to this forum and I would like some tips on how group mixing or group automate drum tracks. I can do it track by track but its annoying and long to do when I am sure there is a simpler way to group tracks and just automate one fader instead of 8 or 10!

You can either assign all your drum tracks to the same mix group, or you could just assign their outputs to a bus, then return the bus signal to your mix with an aux and have that be your drum sub. Nothing's keeping you from doing both actually, which is what I usually do anyway because of effects routing considerations. But it's up to you and your individual needs.
