roderick
Should "better performance" be selected in the energy savings tab when using Logic? I did this but it turned my macbook pro into a $3000 shiny retard box. The fans were always on, certain apps wouldn't open, and the system just seemed a bit sluggish. any suggestions? David Nahmani
It doesn't matter, "Better Performance" is just a preset position for the "put computer to sleep" and "Put display to sleep" sliders. I never, ever put any computer that has Logic open to sleep (set to "Never"). The display sleep time is totally up to you.

perversity
What about a macbook that goes to sleep when you close it? I always quit Logic first, but I'm just curious as to if this would cause any problems
