Dock trick

We all know now that LP 7.2 has an "automatic" Hide Dock function. But you can also put it in a place where it bothers you least. In the picture below I've set it up to the upper right corner 'cos it doesn't get in a way there when using Logic.

So how to set it up this way:

1) Load a great little app called Tinker Tool from

http://www.bresink.de/osx/TinkerTool.html

2) Install and launch it and choose Dock from the pane. Rest is quite self explanatory.

You can also use Terminal to achieve this.

P.S. David you can move this to Tips section if you feel that this is worth mentioning there.

Already posted this on the 7.2 thread but here it is again anyway....

Regarding the dock problem guys, if you install the system utility Onyx it has an option to put the dock at the top of the screen. That way it only appears if you put the mouse pointer on the very bottom of the menu bar, so it's almost impossible to trigger it accidentally.
