bigdaverotheroe
Hi Guys, I just got myself a shiny new Tascam US16-41 USB interface and got it setup, output's fine but for some reason I'm not getting ANY inputs in logic (pro 7.2.3)!! When I go to select an input on an audio track the dropdown menu just shows 'no input' which is mildly frustrating! Cheers for any help guys! Appreciate it! Is the USB a 2.0? You should still see some other input choice like the default audio input. See if your Logic Preference Audio driver is set properly. If everything is correct try powering down, have your tascam on 1st then power up the comp.
bigdaverotheroe
That's all set fine, it was working fine when I was using a previous interface, and my MBox before I got leopard (which doesn't work alongside logic in leopard for some reason!). Here's my screens! http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/2816/picture3ym4.th.png http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/3324/picture2si5.th.png I'm working on a 2GHz Intel Core Duo Macbook Pro with 2GB of ram if that helps? And the interface is 2.0 yea!
shivermetimbers
Is the Clock set to Internal? The next thing would be for you to download the latest software and firmware drivers for the Mac and Leopard. http://www.tascam.com/products/us-1641;9,15,1056,19.html If all that fails, then perhaps consider exchanging the tascam for something else while you still can. bigdaverotheroe
I've made some progress now, I have input 1 and 2 shadowed when I click to add an input, but the tascam inputs still aren't showing! Here's some more screens if they help?! http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4606/picture1hn7.png http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/8196/picture2oh9.th.png And I can't take this back unfortunately! Got it shipped from the US (to UK) and had to pay £50 shipping and £50 import tax... Being a student that's not something I can afford...ever again! Thanks again for your time! bigdaverotheroe
Ah! I've got it sorted, me being stupid, had it plugged into a Hub which isn't USB2.0. I should have thought of that when you mentioned the machine being USB2 really!! Cheers again!
