Martian
I'm trying to use the amazing August Foerster Grand Piano from the Kontakt sample libraray. Problem is, the notes are not triggering correctly in LP8. Most of the notes I play are there (I'm not playing fast passages either), some are not there or are barely audible. I can see the notes in the piano roll screen, but even on playback some of the notes are quieter or not there. It doesn't seem to be the velocity either. I can't reproduce the problem in Ableton, so the problem is in Logic. I can't find any kind of MIDI "buffer" type adjustment. I tried adjusting the buffers in my soundcard preferences. I need this to work. Any suggestions? Using Kontakt 2.2.0.005 in LP8. Macbook Pro 2.16 2GRAM 7200 Hrddrv
Rolo Tomasi
No problems here with K2/Logic 8. Your using an older version of Kontakt. Latest version is 2.2.3.003. Try updating and see if that helps. My guess is it will.
Simon R.
I experienced the same thing with several plugins in Logic 7 - haven't tested in Logic 8 yet. My conclusion is that you need to do an offline bounce to be sure to get all notes playing from AU instruments in Logic I experienced missing notes in both Stylus RMX, VSL and Native Instruments AU's. Great.
