Primm
I was recording and re-recording mod wheel movements and gluing them to their respective regions, then dragging MIDI aliases over to diff. locations and re-dragging (for some reason aliases become orphaned when you glue stuff) when I came across this little number: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l49/sliver_tongue/warning1.png followed immediately by this little ditty: http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l49/sliver_tongue/warning2.png Is this a RAM issue? I only have 1G currently on my MacBook (and I know probably everyone here is going to say to get more, but I've been doing just fine with the minimum requirement up until now...) "should never happen" struck me to be a weird thing to say in an error message. Thoughts?
ski
I've posted about these myself, never got a response. I got those error messages on a PPC Quad with 6GB. The "should never happen" warning is very weird. But unless Apple wakes up one day and realizes that users are entitled to know what these kinds of messages mean, we'll probably never know. So we'll probably never know.
pantomimeHorse
Those look suspiciously like bits of "notepad" GUI that have been overlooked when cleaning and compiling. - The programmer sticks that text in when he/she is debugging and, if it gets forgotten, it stays in the final release build ! ! ! - C
